Baking is creating; another form of art.

One of the parts I like about baking is the tweaking of recipes and combination of elements to get a desired taste or effect. These can go from the more mundane, like the quest for the perfect brownie (which is subjected to severe individual preferences), to nutty ideas that take root in my head and refuse to be ignored. Inspiration comes from anywhere, from a slice of cake that commanded high prices yet only gave disappointment, to taste and recipes I chance upon in everyday life.

Now, it truly isn’t easy to find something that fits into individual preferences. That chocolate cake the nation is going ga-ga over may be too rich or sweet for you. Or perhaps too light and tasteless. There are also those special occasions that calls for themes; crazy ideas; surprises that are out of the ordinary. #tweedlebakes Bespoke Creations are simply the minutely refined recipes that will satisfy your loved one’s multiple requirements of a perfect cake. They’re also the mad bakes that encourage the question of whether something can be done, such as that intestine cake you want for halloween, something that marries white chocolate and fruit in an elegant way, or even that croquembouche you wish you had for your 21st birthday.

So if you’re here to share an ideal or an idea, you’ve come to the right place. I haven’t figured out how to make exploding cakes yet, but you can be sure that I’m on the way there.

One of my favourites. Piñata Cake: The birthday guy likes chocolate, and berries.
I used White Chocolate for a more elegant colour scheme, filled with Raspberries, Strawberries, Ferrero Rocher, Snickers, Kitkat, and Berry M&Ms. Layered with a gradient of fluffy and light cream cheese frosting.
